The Ruby chocolate developed by Barry Callebaut is now also accessible to consumers: Nestlé starts selling Kit-Kat bars for a limited period of time in Brazil.

After the launching in Japan and South Korea, Europe receives the pink KitKat made with Ruby Chocolate.

Kit Kat is the first brand in the UK to manufacture chocolate bars using the unique ruby cocoa beans.

The soft pink chocolate is made without coloring and flavorings. The color is naturally in the ruby cocoa bean, according to Swiss company Barry Callebaut. This also applies to the fruity taste, which, according to the organization, is reminiscent of berries and is both sweet and slightly sour.
